Manulife Investments Bantam AA Petes Tie/Lose in Weekend Games
The Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes played two games this weekend.

On Friday, October 6, 2017, the team travelled to Cobourg to play the Northumberland Nighthawks. The Nighthawks took the lead 2-0 in the first period but Pete’s Jack Ryan came out strong early in the second period to score assisted by Nick Stinson. The Nighthawks went ahead with their third goal making it a 3-1 score. Defenceman Isaiah Scott scored late in the third period unassisted to make it a 3-2 game for the Hawks. With less than 3 minutes in the game, Cole Lester scored assisted by Stinson to end the game in a 3-3 tie. Ryder Hadwyn played in net for the team.




The Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes played a home game on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Kinsmen Arena losing 4-3 in a close game to the Belleville Bulls. Cole Lester, John Hawman and Jack Ryan scored for the Petes with assists to Dominic McMorrow, Matt Collyer and Hawman. Xavier Lehmann supported the team in net.

Next game for the Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes is Wednesday, October 11, 8:30 pm against the North Durham Warriors in Port Perry.
