Silver In Justin Williams Cup
The Minor Atom AA team had a great weekend winning
the Silver medal from the Justin Williams Cup tournament. The group never lost until the championship
game, which saw them loose, a tight 3-1 battle to their rival Oshawa
Generals. The team advanced with a dominant
quarter final 6-1 win over the host Northumberland Nighthawks. They then moved
on to play the Caledon Hawks and after trailing 1-0 midway through the third
the team rallied with some late game heroics winning the game 3-1. All players contributed to the success this
weekend. Congratulations to the team on a great weekend of hockey.
