Game Results: Game vs Whitby Wildcats
Tonight, the Peterborough Mr. Sub U15 AE Petes met up with the Whitby Wildcats at the Kinsmen Civic Centre.  The Petes looking to rebound from the previous weekends two losses and build upon their success versus the Belleville Bulls arrived at the rink ready to play.

The first period was dominated by the Petes.  The Petes took control of the game by using their speed and skill to move the puck and get many quality scoring chances.  Capitalizing on their opportunities the Petes would score two in the period to take a 2-0 lead into the second period.  Carter K. was solid in net when called upon to make saves.

The second period was different story with the game opening upon offensively and the Petes trading chances with the Wildcats.  Both teams struggled defensively and as a result both teams were able to generate multiple shots on goal.  Carter K. was once again called upon to make some huge saves in the period.  The Wildcats would end up outscoring the Petes and tie up the score 3-3 by the end of the second Period.

The third period was filled with offense with both teams confident in their ability to win the game.  There was a definite playoff feeling to the game as the Petes and the Wildcats again traded chances back and forth.  The Wildcats would strike first in the period to take the lead.  However, a quick response from the Petes would have them in the lead once again scoring two goals and making the score 5-4 mid period.  The Petes however would end up in penalty trouble late in the period and the Wildcats would take advantage of their powerplay and with under 3 minutes left would tie up the game 5-5.  The game would remain tied and with time running out in the 3rd period the Petes would be rewarded for their hard work and persistence and score their 6th goal of the night with 28 seconds left in the game.  The final score would see the Petes win 6-5 over the Wildcats.

Goals scored by: James C., Mason N., Hayven W., DJ C., Matthew S.

The Petes next game is against the Oshawa Generals on Sunday, November 28th @ 12:15 PM in Oshawa at the Delpark Home Centre.
