Game Results: Game @ Belleville Jr. Bulls
On Sunday afternoon the Petes and the Bullls met for the second time this season in Belleville at the CAA Centre.  The first meeting between the two teams resulted in a 9-0 victory for the Belleville Bulls.  The Petes were determined on this day to show the Bulls they have improved since then.

In the first period the Petes hit the ice ready to go.  The Petes played one of their best periods so far this season and kept the Bulls offense from getting any quality scoring chances.  Even though the Petes were out shot in the period the Petes did manage to put together a few scoring chances of their own.  The Bulls though would open the scoring midway through the period and hold onto a 1-0 lead going into the second period.

The second period was an equally great period for the Petes.  The Petes once again were able to play some impeccable defense and keep the Bulls to the outside limiting them from having too many dangerous opportunities to score.  The Bulls though would continue to generate scoring opportunities and would end up getting rewarded and score a goal to increase their lead to 2-0.  The Petes though were not deterred and continued to stick to their game plan.  This would frustrate the Bulls and they would be assessed 4 penalties in the period.  The Petes powerplay would generate multiple soring chances but were not able to get one by the Bulls goalie.  The score was 2-0 going into the 2nd intermission.

In the third period the Bulls hit the ice with some added energy and immediately applied the pressure on the Petes. The Bulls would be rewarded for their efforts and increase the lead to 3-0.   The Petes though responded back soon after with a goal of their own.  The score was now 3-1 with momentum swinging in the Petes favour.  However, the Petes goal seemed to awaken the Bulls and the game quickly changed momentum back in their favour and the Bulls scored multiple times and closed out the game with five unanswered goals to win the game 8-1.  The Petes played thirty-five minutes of quality hockey and proved that they can skate with the Bulls.

Way to go Petes!
