Congratulations!! Kawartha Metals Win Stouffville Ender Bender going 4-0 defeating Barrie Colts 6-3 in the final!
Kawartha Metals would start the tournament against a familiar opponent the Port Credit Storm and would get by them easily 6-0. In Game two the Petes would face the home team Stouffville Clippers for the first time this year and would win their second game of the opening day 7-2. With a 2-0 record and a spot already clinched in Sundays final the Kawartha Metal Petes would play the Barrie Colts in a Saturday battle that would be a preview of Sundays final. The Petes would be up 2-0 in the first :54 seconds and Barrie wouldn't be able to recover as the Petes would go on to a 8-3 win.
All set for the final the Petes would prepare for a rematch with Barrie on a warm Sunday afternoon.
The Petes would get out to a 3-0 lead only to see Barrie come back and make it 3-2 but the Petes would prove to be to strong for the Colts as they would go on defeat them 6-3 and bring home another championship.
The Kawartha Metals Petes would finish the season wih a 28-1-2 record winning 3 of 4 tournaments.
