Ajax Penalty Box Not Big Enough To Stop This Bantam "A" Teams BIG WIN
The Bantam A's rolled into Ajax tonight looking to extend there winning streak. Ajax has been a thorn in our side all season. They have become rivals this season with some good hard battles between these 2 teams and tonight wasn't any different. We took it to them right off the bat with 3 quick goals in the first to lead 3-0. The referees made this a pretty difficult game for the Petes as they were short handed throughout the 1st and the 2nd periods but came out ahead 4-1 after two.

The third period was know different than the 1st two periods, plenty of players going through the revolving door next to the bench. The timekeeper earned her wages tonight as well as the 4 refs trying there best to make this a close game. With the boys persistence on winning this game no matter how lop sided it was they pulled in another marker to make 5-1 after 3.

Well done boys on showing that what ever penalty box you go into from now on you know what it takes to dig deep and hold your own. You communicated to each other about positions and how to fix different situation as a team. It was great to see the boys being a team on the bench this evening. There probably is no other team in this league that has a better penalty kill than this Bantam "A" Petes team. Also adding that our powerplay is working just great. From the coaches perspective on the bench, the powerplay looks great and getting better all the time.

Great win over Ajax 5-1

Goals:- Garvey 2, Spencer, Scriver, Forsyth.

Assits:- Gilmoure 2, Forsyth 2, Colling, Walker, Spencer, Beatty.

Maybury played well in the pipes tonight.

Honourable mention to Brad Lowes for his shutout last game in K town. I do miss some details sometimes.

Next game Tuesday December 20th in Clarington.
