Minor Atom AA Win Twice for Four Key Points
The Minor Atom AA Petes took on their rival from Oshawa Saturday at the Kinsman.  This was a close checking game throughout the first two periods which saw both teams goalies holding the teams in the game.  However the Petes came out on a mission in the third scoring two quick goals.  Oshawa was able to come within one late in the game but goalie Antonio Bianco stood tall and shutting them down.  Hunter Young and Caiden Rogers scored the goals with assists going to Ethan Richardson and Ben Gusso.

The team then travelled to Port Hope Sunday to battle North Durham Warriors.  The teams were scoreless after the first period even though Peterborough was outplayed. However, the stellar goaltending by Josh Lafreniere kept the team alive and seemed to wake them up.  In the second period the Petes were sparked and put four goals behind the Warriors goalie and only surrendering two, but controlling the play throught.  They scored two more in the third for a 6-2 final taking all four key points over the weekend.  Goal scoring included: Blake Moncrief with two, Hunter Young, Jack Davies, Caiden Rogers and Colton Bain.  Assists by Ethan Richardson with two, Moncrief, Bain, and Rogers.
