FCI Windows Atom AA Petes extend winning streak to 14 games
The FCI Windows atom AA Peterborough Petes continue to roll. The team continued it's dominate play in the Lakeshore League with three recent wins.

On Friday (Oct. 6), the team was in Oshawa to face the minor Generals in what turned out to be a penalty-filled game.

Following a scoreless first period, Oshawa netted the first goal of the game early in the second period. The goal ended the Petes’ four-game shutout streak.

Peterborough tied the game up a minute later, and then took the lead with a short-handed goal five minutes into the period.

The Petes would continue to score, building a 5-1 lead at the end of the second frame and eventually winning by a score of 9-1.

On Saturday, Peterborough hosted the Northumberland Nighthawks.

Peterborough potted three goals in the first period to take a 3-0 lead into the second. In the middle frame, neither team was able to score, but the Petes made it 4-0 with a power-play goal early in the third period.

They would add one more to take the 5-0 win.

On Tuesday (Oct. 10), the Petes travelled to Ajax to face the Knights.

Peterborough scored on the opening shift and never looked back, winning by a score of 12-0.

The Petes face North Durham on Thursday (Oct. 12) at home and then Oshawa on Saturday. On Sunday, they travel to Clarington to face the second-place Toros.
