Prior to the Saturday game, the team volunteered at The Mount Community Centre raking and bagging

over 150 bags of leaves helping to beautify and winter-ready the 10 acre grounds. The boys had an opportunity to meet and work side by side with some of the tenants from Woodland Apartment and later enjoyed a pasta dinner prior to the game.

"I was so pleased that the Minor Bantam AA Petes team chose to help us with our fall grounds clean-up and did so well in both their  hockey games this weekend,” says Andi van Koeverden, Director of Strategic Advancement for The Mount Community Centre.  “The players did a wonderful job and had an opportunity to meet some of our tenants at the Woodland Apartments who assisted the boys with the clean-up. Their involvement in providing volunteer service to the Mount Community Centre helped us continue to meet our mission and better serve our tenants and the community."

Next action for the Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes is Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm against the Whitby Wildcats at the Iroquois Sports Park Centre in Whitby.
