The Budd Wealth Mgmt Atom Select 47s traveled to Belleville on Saturday Dec.9th for their second away game of the season.
The boys gathered together before the game and represented our city by showing respect and cheering on a local fun adult league.
We were finally able to wear our new away jerseys. Unfortunately still missing our sponsor patch, Mark Sokolski Royal LePage. Thank you for your support of the team and patience. We will have the patch applied for the next game.
The team met a strong contender with the Belleville Bulls. The teams played strong in the first period with the net not being found on both sides. The defence on both teams was intense. Belleville came on strong in the second period intercepting our passes twice and then finding our net.
The third brought on a fire in the team and they worked together to finally find the net. Remembering that working together is the way to succeed. It was a nail biter to the last seconds of the game, with chances after chances but the goalies on both sides robbing each team of the victory.
The game ended in a very respectable tie.
Looking forward to our rematch against this team.
