Congratulations to the Circul-Air Corp Minor Peewee A team for winning the Oshawa Hockeyfest tournament over the December 7-9, 2018 weekend. The Circul-Air Corp Minor Peewee A team won all five games over the weekend on the back of a total team effort, some timely goals and strong goaltending from both Brody Carrick and Bradley Mongomery.

The team beat the Clarington Toros (2-1), Cumberland Jr. Grads (6-1) and the Burlington Jr. Cougars (6-0) in the round robin to set up a semifinal meeting with the host Oshawa Generals. The  Circul-Air Corp Minor Peewee A beat the Oshawa General 2-1 with an effective two-way effort to set up the final with the Clarington Toros whom they had previously lost to in the semi-final of the Peter Mansuco Niagara Tournament in early November in a shoot-out. Both teams battled hard with the Circul-Air Corp Minor Peewee A team victorious in a tough 1-0 game in the final with Brody Carrick earning the shut-out.
