Petes opened their playoff series with a 5-3 win over the North Durham Warriors
at the Scugog arena in Port Perry.
Nick Stinson had two goals and an assist and Cole Lester scored a goal and assisted on Stinson’s goals. Vincent Galeazza and Nathan Burke also scored for the Petes. Ryder Hadwyn supported the team in net stopping 26 shots.
In the second game of their round robin playoff series played at the Evinrude Centre in Peterborough, the Petes lost 4-2 in a battle against the Quinte West Hawks. Cole Lester and Lucas DiBella scored for the Petes assisted by Kaiden Bletsoe and Nathan Burke. Kyan Micks had a strong game tending net for the Petes stopping 35 shots.
