An
overtime goal by Pete’s Liam Vollans gave the NDB Firm & Associates Major
Bantam A Pete’s a one game lead in this playoff series against the Oshawa
Generals.
Oshawa scored two quick goals in the first period to take the lead but Pete’s Chris Girardi came back and scored assisted by Isaiah Scott and Nick Stinson to make it a 2-1 game. With a minute and a half left in the first period Nick Stinson scored to tie the game assisted by Liam Vollans and Girardi.
The Generals took the lead once again early in the third period but Pete’s Cole Lester scored to tie it up assisted by Girardi and Stinson.
The game ended with Vollan’s overtime goal in a 4-3 win for the Pete’s.
Ryder Hadwyn played a strong game in net stopping 28 shots.
