U11 AA Tryout Information
Welcome Hockey Families:

On behalf of the Peterborough Hockey Association, we would like to welcome you to the tryouts for the 2021-22 U11 Peterborough Petes AA team. We can all feel the excitement building (or perhaps some anxiety) so we wanted to send a few reminders as well as some process information about the upcoming tryouts.

Due to the large number of players attending the tryouts this season we have divided the first tryout skate into 2 groups.

Group 1 – Tuesday September 21 5:00pm – Kinsmen Civic Center
Players with the last names starting with the Letter “A – H”

Group 2 – Tuesday September 21 – 6:30pm Kinsmen Civic Center
Players with the last names starting with the Letter “ K- Z”

The full tryout schedule can be found here

Check in process
: Check-in for the first session skate will take a bit longer as pinnies need to be handed out to everyone – please ensure you give yourself enough time for this process. Players will keep and wear their assigned pinnie for the entire tryout process.

Please make certain your child checks in at every ice session and is fully dressed 15 minutes before each ice session.  We expect that all players arrive to the arena fully dressed and ready to head straight to the ice.

Tryout Process: The full tryout schedule is located on our team’s webpage for planning purposes. After each skate all parents will receive either an invite to the next session or a release email with further information regarding next steps.

Independent evaluators will be present for the entire process, please respect their privacy during the on-ice sessions.

The final roster will be selected after the skate on Sunday September 26th. Even with the current COVID-19 guidelines, I personally understand how difficult it can be to be released from a team. No matter the circumstances I will make myself available for any discussions if you feel required.

Good luck to all of the players and see you on September 21st.
