The
U18AA Petes kicked off their season winning the Newmarket Renegades Early Bird
Start-up Tournament
The Petes avenged a round robin loss to tournament host Newmarket
beating them 4-0 in the Finals.
They were lead by Gavin Hill who backstopped the team with
a shutout in the finals and only allowed 2 goals in 3 games. Jake Stinson (2
goals, 4 assists for 6 points), and Terry Vokey (4 goals, 1 assist for 5 points)
led the offence which saw 10 different goal scores throughout the tournament.
Max Simon, AJ Whitney, Griffin Hartwick, and Dawson Corfe had 4 points each.
The U18AA Petes start their regular season at Home on Sunday
October 8th, 8:15pm at the
Healthy Planet Arena.
