Jordie Preston Update
The PHA today presented the Preston family with more than $7000 in funds raised from the Jersey patches along with the plaque that over 300 people signed with messages of hope and inspiration for Jordie.
Unfortunately Jordie’s cancer is holding on and fighting back and for the next 8 weeks Jordie will be receiving even more intense and aggressive chemo, 5 consecutive days/week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week were especially difficulty but Jordie continued to rally and by Tuesday morning he started to regain some of the lost ground from earlier in the week. Although not out of the woods yet, very promising progress.
The Preston family is grateful for the continued support from the PHA community and while Jordie continues to fight back against this terrible disease, the messages of hope are keeping him focused on coming home one day.
