All PHA Programs Paused During Ontario Lockdown
Updated Jan 18, 2021

The PHA Offices remain closed while we work with Peterborough Public Health Unit, OHF, OMHA, and City of Peterborough.

The Peterborough Hockey Association paused all programming Dec 24th and this will continue through the Ontario Lockdown until Feb 11th or further notice.

The PHA Executive Board is continuing to work on all current Return to Hockey plan scenarios and all related issues in safety, scheduling, financial, etc.

Thank You

PHA

The original two-week break for Holidays is now into a 28-day Ontario Legislated lockdown. Our hope is to return to hockey exactly how it was, it just might be a little longer to restart.  The PHA Executive Board will continue to work on the current return to hockey plan. In co-operation with the OMHA and Peterborough Public health there will be a more detailed plan coming later this month.  We thank you for all your patience and support as we all want to get back on the ice as soon as possible.

Ontario Provincial Government:

The official word came from the province “Ontario Announces Provincewide Shutdown to Stop Spread of COVID-19 and Save Lives” and details are here.

Peterborough Public Health Unit:

Attached is a letter detailing information from the provincial decision as well as the Peterborough Public Health Unit. Peterborough_Public_Health_Lockdown_Letter.docx

The PHA would like to wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy New Year.

If/when things change – we will be sure to let you know.

Thank You
