UPDATE: Provincial Vaccination Passport
Yesterday, the Government of Ontario announced details regarding the requirement for Proof of Vaccination in certain settings including an exemption relating to youth under 18 years of age actively participating in indoor organized sport applies to training, practices, games and competitions.

This announcement, without any rationale for the exemption, has caused confusion for public health units, municipalities and community sport organizations.

In light of this announcement, the OMHA Board of Directors will be meeting to review the OMHA Vaccination Policy and will provide an update by Monday, September 20, 2021.

If any changes occur in the OMHA Policy we will forward them to our membership immediately. In the meantime the mandated Policies are the following:

As of September 22nd, in order to enter an arena all eligible spectators must be double vaccinated +14 days.

All our players/coaches/officials/volunteers are EXEMPT.

But must follow the OMHA Vaccination Passport: All eligible participants must be fully vaccinated +14 days by October 31st, 2021

To be eligible to tryout proof of vaccination or attestation to meet OMHA requirements must be completed by Friday Sept 17, 2021

Thank you to all our PHA families for your patience as we waited to receive provincial clarification.
