The following has been provided by OMHA:
Please note OHF Playing Regulation G1 regarding players with outstanding fees; Any Player that has outstanding equipment or fees from the current season will be ineligible to attend Player Evaluations with another Association until those financial requirements have been settled.
(a) Prior to April 1 of the current season, Associations are required to provide written notice to any individual that is in a position of violation of G1. The written notice must indicate that their HCR profile will not be eligible for Registration until the financial requirements are settled and/or the equipment is returned. The email address used for this purpose would be the primary email address in the HCR.
(b) In addition to providing written notice, Associations must note the outstanding fee balance or non-returned equipment on the HCR profile of the individual by April 1.
(c) Where an individual continues to participate after April 1 and has not met their obligation to return equipment or settle outstanding fees, the Association must comply with the requirements of G1 (a) and (b) within seven (7) days of the completion of programming to restrict the Player (or individual) from participating in the following season until such obligations have been discharged in full.
(d) Where the Association has not complied with G1 (a) or (b) they will void their ability to restrict the Player from attending Player Evaluations and participating in programming the next season.
Tuesday is April 1st so please ensure your association office staff, treasurers and registrars are aware of a) this pending April 1st deadline to provide written notice to families of players with delinquent fees/equipment and b) the second deadline to get the information into HCR which will then prevent those players from participating in player evaluations with another association until the fees have been paid.
