Tryouts and Releases – Important Reminder
As we move through tryouts, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the emotions and effort involved during this time of year. Tryouts can be exciting, stressful, and at times disappointing — not just for players and parents, but also for our coaches who are tasked with making incredibly difficult decisions.
Please respect the 24-hour rule following a player release. Some coaches have requested that families wait until their tryouts are fully completed before reaching out for feedback. This time allows everyone to process the decision and ensures that conversations are productive and respectful.
This year, we’ve seen a significant number of player attending our tryouts, which has added an extra layer of complexity and pressure on our coaches as they work to build balanced, competitive teams. These decisions are never taken lightly, and we thank everyone — players, parents, and staff — for showing understanding and sportsmanship throughout the process.
Let’s continue to support each other and keep the focus on development, respect, and the love of the game.
Thank you!
