Liftlock U11 (Atom) Tournament Tradition Will Continue
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Peterborough, ON — After months of close collaboration with the City of Peterborough, the Peterborough Hockey Association (PHA) is proud to announce that beginning in 2027 we will host—and proudly continue—the tradition of the Liftlock Atom (U11) Tournament.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the current and past volunteers and board members of the Liftlock Atom Tournament for their many years of dedication, which have sustained this cherished event.

Over the years, the Liftlock Tournament has served as a stepping-stone for many players who went on to the highest levels of hockey. Among its alumni are such NHL stars as Wayne Gretzky, Eric Lindros, Bob Gainey, Corey Perry, Steve Larmer, John Vanbiesbrouck, Tie Domi, Mickey Redmond, Cory Stillman and Mike Fisher.   Their connection to this tournament highlights its role in developing young talent, and the legacy we build upon.

Details on event dates, team registration, sponsorship opportunities and more will be announced in the new year!
