U8MD & U9MD Prep Skates
The Peterborough Hockey Association is offering Prep Skates for U8MD and U9MD players ahead of the upcoming season.
Prep Skates will be conducted the April 6th, 8th & 9th. Please keep an eye open for the Time, Location, and Age Group.
These sessions are designed to help players get back on the ice, build confidence, and prepare for the upcoming evaluation process in a fun and supportive environment. Prep Skates give players an opportunity to skate, handle the puck, work on basic skills, and become comfortable in the arena setting before evaluations begin.
These skates are intended to help players:

get back on the ice before the season starts

build confidence in a low-pressure environment

work on skating, puck control, and overall readiness

feel comfortable and prepared before evaluations
Please note: Prep Skates are NOT evaluations.
No formal player assessments or team placement decisions will take place during these sessions. These sessions are strictly for development, preparation, and comfort before evaluations begin.
Players must register in the correct age division for the upcoming season:
