This includes the opportunity for all eligible individuals to participate in recreational house league ice hockey, and to provide community hockey programs which will allow a player to participate in a safe environment of fun, physical exercise and fair play.

The PHA achieves this purpose by offering programs designed to enhance participation in hockey and instill in all Players, Coaches, Volunteers and members associated with the PHA good sportsmanship, correct and proper behavior on and off the ice, respect for oneself, others and team play.

The P.H.A. offers House League Hockey for ages 3 to 18, pending available space and Wait List.

The Initiation Program is part of the Hockey Canada Skill Development Series and is the OMHA’s official Skill Development Program. A Hockey Association's Initiation Program is its very foundation - the base upon which it builds its House Leagues, and Rep Teams.

The Initiation Program offers players aged 3-7 the opportunity to have fun and develop fundamental skills while learning about the game of hockey on age and skill appropriate teams/divisions in a safe, positive and constructive learning environment. For more information on the Initiation Program click on the word link.

House League ice times/days are typically early Saturday and Sunday mornings mid-September through to our Finals; the first weekend in March. Days/times do vary from this for older age groups, Bantam and up.
