The Peterborough Hockey Association is proud to offer the Roster Select program for the 2025/2026 season. All registered House League Players are eligible to tryout for a Roster Select Team. Roster Select participants have the opportunity to play games with other Roster Select Teams in the Lakeshore and York Simcoe Hockey Leagues. Roster Select provides the best of both Rep and House League worlds. Allowing more competition and commitment than House League but not quite the same commitment level as a Rep Team. Roster Select Teams also have the opportunity to play in three Tournaments over the 2025/2026 hockey season. The RS season begins with tryouts in September and will likely finish in early April.
For the 2025/2026 season we are planning on offering Roster Select teams for U11, U13, U15 and U18.
New for 2025/2026 : We are looking into offering a U9 Roster Select Team. We do need to make sure that there are other organizations offering a U9 team but we would like to guage interest from our own organization first. If you are interested in trying out for the U9 RS Team please email me and Marty.
In order for these teams to run we need dedicated coaches to work with and develop their teams. Without coaches we will not be able to offer the teams.

Approximate cost for the season expected to be roughly $800.
This cost is in ADDITION to your House League Registration
TRYOUTS/TRYOUTS PASSPORTS
Tryouts will be in September. Location and times TBD
Tryout passports will be available online near the end of August under the House League Select Tab
Coaching applications/interviews - July 1-Aug 30 - Emails and posts will be sent looking for volunteers. Coaching applications will be accepted via online submissions through the Roster Select tab.
Coaching interviews are TBD.

SEASON EXPECTATIONS
Season is expected to run September (Tryouts) Games are hoping to start November to early April
2 ice times per week in addition to House League (in Douro or TBD)
Maximum of 4 games allowed per month (home or away)
Maximum 4 Tournaments allowed per season
Commitment to House League is 1st priority. Select programming is not allowed to superseded House League
Some travel expected (we try to keep to within 1 hr driving distance for away games and tournaments)
Centers played in the past: Kingston, Belleville, Cobourg, Uxbridge, Oshawa, Barrie, Stouffville
