Peterborough Petes Novice Roster Select team made history this weekend by winning the Oshawa Heritage Select Tournament.The victory in the three-day (Feb. 5 to 7) tournament was the first by a Peterborough novice select team.The Petes beat the host Oshawa Hawks 3-1 in the Sunday championship game. Netminder Carter Winter was named MVP after putting on a dominant performance in the final game. Both Winter and Cameron Aide split goaltending duties all tournament and allowed just four goals in four games.
