Budd Wealth Mgmt Atom Select 47s Season Opener, News, Atom RS, 2017-2018, S (Peterborough Hockey Association)

It was great season opener game for the Budd Wealth Mgmt Atom Select 47s against the Oshawa Hawks at the Kinsmen arena on Friday November 24th. We were down a few players, but the team rallied to a 4/1 victory.


The team worked together for their success. With Daniel Swales opening our game in the first period with a goal assisted by Chase Callaghan.

The game was a nail biter into the second period with Finn Plumbe finding the net from an assist by Chase Callaghan & Mason Nancarrow.

At the halfway point our starting goalie Adam McGinn came off the ice with a shutout, with our second goalie Nate Crossley coming in pumped to keep the net empty.

The team kept the momentum up into the third period with another goal by Finn Plumbe, assisted by Chase Callaghan and Matthew Gillis-English. Keeping their teamwork and drive going Daniel Swales found the net again in the third period with an assist by Mason Nancarrow.

The team celebrated their first game and win together at BP where the team spirit continued.
