The Budd Wealth Mgmt Atom Select 47s braved the cold on January 6th travelling to the Oshawa GM Center to play their second game against the Hawks.
It was an intense game with the Hawks coming out fast with a 2 goal lead. Our boys did not give up and Daniel Swales tied up the game with 2 goals. One being a text book assist from Will Mattie, passing across for the open net shot. It was a fast paced back and forth nail biter. In the last 17 seconds of the game Finn Plumbe rushed in on the Hawks net, but the goalie blocked the shot. Giving Mason Nancarrow a split second chance at the rebound. With a fast reflex reaction he back handed the puck over the goalies pads for the win.
And the crowd went wild!!!
Way to go boys, keep up the great team work and on ice communication.
