Welcome to the U15A Peterborough Petes tryouts. Below you
will find information on the tryout process and information on the upcoming
season should you be successful in making the team.
Eligibility: Only players that have purchased a
PHA passport are eligible to participate in the tryout skates. All players that
have purchased a passport will receive a tryout code. The tryout code will be
your code for the duration of the A tryout process.
Player Evaluations: There will be independent
evaluators at every tryout. These evaluators have no affiliation with the U15A
Petes or the Peterborough Hockey Association. They will be in the stands during
each tryout and I ask that they not be bothered and to give them space.
Releases:
All releases will be posted on the PHA website the night of or the
morning after each skate. Codes showing on the website are for players moving
on to the next tryout. If you DO NOT see your code, your player has been
released. Player feedback for those who are released should be requested by email
to [email protected]. Tryouts are
an extremely busy time; please allow 48 hours for the response. Unsuccessful
players will be eligible and are encouraged to try out for the U15BB team.
Schedule: The tryout schedule is posted on the PHA
website and will consist of 2 intersquad games and 3 exhibition games.
Successful Players: Successful players may be
offered a roster spot and sign their letter of commitment at any time during
the tryout process; these players may be asked to sit out of tryout games after
they have made the team.
