Thank you to all of our 2022/23 team sponsors for supporting the U16 BB Petes this season!

The Sportsmanship Award is awarded to the Petes player who demonstrates love of the game through respect and fair play.  This season the U16 BB Petes had three players that met this criteria and stood out above the rest.  These players always showed respect and integrity for the game, the officials, their teammates and their opponents.  Each of these players are deserving of the award and are great representations of what a Petes player should be.  The three nominees are:  Hayven W., Matthew S., and Aiden B.  And...the U16 BB Petes Sportsmanship Award goes to...

On Saturday night the Petes played their first playoff game against the Oshawa Generals.  The Petes were set to put the past losses behind them and start a new chapter in their season.  The playoffs are when it matters, and all other games have been practice to get to this point.

On February 15th the Petes met up with the Whitby Wildcats (White) team to compete for the fourth time this season.  The Petes had previously played the Wildcats in a tournament as well as two regular season games and the Wildcats got the better of them in all those meetings.  On this night the Petes were looking to send a message to the Wildcats that they had improved since their last meeting and not to take them lightly.
