Atom AA Defeat Kingston in Season Opener
The Atom AA boys came out strong in their first regular season game - defeating Kingston 2-0.
The boys have been coming together as a team across their pre-season exhibition games and the Kawartha Lakes AA Tournament, but tonight they played their hardest, winning their first game of the regular season and putting an end to Kingston's three-game winning streak.
The first two periods were close, and the third period started with a 0-0 score. The Petes rallied together and won the game 2-0 - a shut out for Petes goalie Caleb Lain.
The first goal was scored by Zac Leeson, assisted by Dylan Webb, and the game was wrapped up with another Petes goal scored by Brett Jones, assisted by Ryan Greco.
GO PETES GO!!!
