The ServiceMaster Restore Minor Atom A Peterborough Petes and Port Perry Predators traded wins in recent Lakeshore League playoff action. On Thursday (Feb. 9), Peterborough defeated Port Perry 3-1. The Petes' Drew Stabler had a hat trick. DJ Crough had assists on Stabler's first and third goals, while Ethan Lacey set Stabler up on his second of the evening. Cooper Lawson also picked up an assist on the night. Peterborough netminder Carter Winter had an outstanding game in net.On Saturday (Feb. 11), Peterborough travelled to Port Perry and lost 3-1. Crough had Peterborough¹s lone goal. Lacey had the assist. The two teams face-off in game three Thursday (Feb. 16) in Peterborough.

The ServiceMaster Restore Minor Atom A Peterborough Petes defeated the Clarington Toros 6-0 in Lakeshore League playoff action Monday (Jan. 30). Peterborough’s Drew Stabler opened the scoring early in the first period with an unassisted goal. Peterborough opened up a two-goal lead when Joey Donoghue scored with one second remaining in the first period. DJ Crough made it 3-0 Petes when he scored a power play goal a minute-and-a-half into the second period. Cooper Lawson had the assist.

The ServiceMaster Restore Minor Atom A Peterborough Petes defeated the Pickering Panthers 7-0 Saturday (Jan. 28). It was the Petes’ first game in the Lakeshore League playoffs. Goaltender Quinton Ross earned the shutout and, while Peterborough dominated most of the game, Ross had to make a few big saves early on as Pickering came out strong. Ethan Lacey put Peterborough on the board with an unassisted goal early in the first frame. With the 1-0 lead, Peterborough began to control the pace of the game.

Peterborough ServiceMaster Minor Atom A Petes face off against the Quinte West Hawks in the first round of the OMHA playdowns. Peterborough dropped game one to Quinte 6-2 Friday night (Jan. 13). Scoring for Peterborough were Lyndon Jarbeau and Lucas Tataryn. Assists went to Ethan Lacey and Andrew Wasson. The two teams meet again Wednesday and Thursday.
