ServiceMaster Restore Minor Atom A Petes Lose a Tough One
The ServiceMaster Restore Minor Atom A Peterborough Petes dropped a tough 3-2 decision to the Kingston Canadians Sunday (Oct. 23) at the Memorial Centre. The Petes opened the scoring with a power play goal from Ethan Lacey in the first period. Lucas Tataryn had the assist.The two teams traded chances throughout the first period and much of the second, but Kingston tied it up late in the middle frame with a power play goal. Kingston made it a 2-1 game when they scored early in the third period. Kingston added to their lead to make it 3-1 after a blocked point shot sent them on a breakaway.

Late in the third the Petes made it a one-goal game when Drew Stabler scored after Andrew Wasson made a beautiful pass out front of the Kingston net. However, even with an extra attacker, the Petes were unable to tie the game. Peterborough travels to Kingston for the rematch on Saturday, and then are in Whitby Sunday.
