Bantam A, 2016-2017, Rep (Peterborough Hockey Association)

The Bantam A's are on a 3 game winning streak going into the Christmas break. Finishing off Clarington tonight 5-0. The boys have been on a roll since returning from the Detroit Tournament going 4-0-2 in league play. Success to this team as of late has been cookies supplied by the Gilmoure's. We are not asking what ingredients are in them but keep them coming. Way to step up the tempo rolling into playoff time. Goals:- Bates, Scriver, Gilmoure 2, Spencer. The Bantam A's rolled into Ajax tonight looking to extend there winning streak. Ajax has been a thorn in our side all season. They have become rivals this season with some good hard battles between these 2 teams and tonight wasn't any different. We took it to them right off the bat with 3 quick goals in the first to lead 3-0. The referees made this a pretty difficult game for the Petes as they were short handed throughout the 1st and the 2nd periods but came out ahead 4-1 after two.

Peterborough Tournament has final schedule out

The Bantam A Petes traveled to Quinte last night coming away with a 4-1 win. Outstanding Goaltending by Tyler Maybury kept the Petes in the game being out shot in the 1 & 2nd 21-9. Petes came away at the end of the 2nd with a 2-0 lead. 3rd period was a lot better adding 2 more markers to there 1 and still being out shot 10-6. Good Job Petes Goals By- Forsyth 1, Jordon Paterson 1, Spencer 1, Garvey 1. Assits by- Hadwyn 1, Beatty 1, Gilmoure 1. Next action for the Bantam A's is the PTBO Thanksgiving Tournament.
