Following a brief few days off to open a few presents and consume a few turkey dinners, the Peterborough Welding Services Peewee A Petes traveled to Ottawa to take part in the Bell Capital Cup, an International tournament that showcased teams from all over the world including entries from Finland and Korea.

The Peterborough Welding Services Peewee A Petes logged some hours in the car this past weekend with road trips to Kingston and Ajax where they were able to continue their strong play and notch a pair of wins.

The Peterborough Welding Services Peewee A Petes had a strong showing this past weekend as they reached the finals of the Northumberland Silver Stick tournament.  While unable to capture the title, losing 3-0 to the provincially top ranked Quinte West Hawks, the Petes hard work was rewarded with the silver medal.

Following a hard fought loss to the Whitby Wildcats on Saturday, the Peterborough Welding Services Peewee A Petes rebounded with a strong performance on Sunday night on route to a convincing 8-1 win over the Pickering Panthers.
