Novice AA, 2017-2018, Rep (Peterborough Hockey Association)

Over the weekend the Novice AA Petes Persevered through the Lakeshore Semi Finals against Northumberland winning 2 do or die games.

This past weekend,  the Novice AA Pete's hit the Memorial Centre for Pete's JumpStart Family Night to raise money for JumpStart Peterborough.  thank you to all the players and parents who help out selling the Kawartha Chrysler Chuck-A-Balls helping to raise over $4000 for Jumpstart! 

Over the weekend the Novice AA Petes took their skates to Ottawa.  Taking part in the 13th Annual Ottawa Senators Novice Holiday Classic. Over the 3 days, the 16-team division tournament had teams from 4 different Hockey loops take part, from Quebec across Ontario.  The Petes got through the round robin with 3 wins over Mississippi, Stitsville and Pembroke, outscoring opponents 12-2 in play, with great goaltending, shut down defensive play and super offensive puck movement.  

Over the weekend the Boys had a great time delivering 40 Turkeys and Christmas Cards around Peterborough to homes and apartments as a team.  Bringing on lots of Christmas Cheer throughout the City!  The turkey distribution was through the Peterborough This Week Christmas Turkey Drive which puts over 200 turkeys a year on tables around town. Along with the team building this weekend they had a tough fought game against rivals Whitby finishing in a 3-3 Tie, and strong performance over Oshawa with 8-0 Win.
