Your Minor Atom A Petes are off to a great start in the OMHA Playoffs winning Game 1 in the series against North Durham. The game was tied 2-2 late in the 3rd period when a late goal by Colby Kekki, with less than a minute to go, secured the 3-2 win. Other goals by Aedan Temple and Calvin Hogan, assists  by Max Bidgood and Temple, solid goaltending by Rhys Johnson and intense battle and effort by the whole team allowed the team to gain this momentum. Next action is Saturday in Port Perry for Game 2. GO PETES GO!

The Minor Atom A Petes beat the Stittsville Rams in an early morning semi-final game today at the Evinrude Center to advance to the Liftlock Atom Tournament Championship game.  The Petes are unbeaten so far in the tournament and look to take home the Championship vs Oshawa Generals at 12:45 pm at the Peterborough Memorial Center.
All weekend the team has played well and hope to carry that into today's game. Scoring for Peterborough in today's semi final game was Max Bidgood, Kaleb Jamieson, Kyle Duda and Aedan Temple. Assists went to Cobly Kekki (2) and Ashton Bell.

Come out and support the Petes today at the Memorial Center at 12:45pm

The Minor Atom A Petes had a 2 game homestand this past weekend. On Saturday the Petes faced a strong Whitby Blue Team. The Petes were not able to find their groove and fell 9-3 to the visiting team. Peterborough goals by Aedan Temple (2) and Colby Kekki. Assists by Kekki, Tristan Boucher, and Blayden Davis. On Sunday, the Clarington Toros came into town to face a re-grouped and focused Petes team.

Holiday Ford and RBC Dominion Securities Minor Atom A Petes win on the road Wednesday night in North Durham 3-2. The Petes came out sluggish but outstanding goaltending by Nathan Sorichetti kept our chances alive. Goals were scored by Aedan Temple, Kaylynn Fisher and Colby Kekki. Assists came from Kekki, Calvin Hogan, Casey Richardson, Ashton Bell and Kyle Duda. Last night’s game marked the halfway point of the regular season. The Petes have been 9-2-1 since October 1st and are ready to continue the battle through to the end of the season.

Petes are in action next week in Oshawa… GO PETES GO!
