2025 Spring Tryouts
Updated March 20, 2025

Hello PHA Families:

Many questions are coming in with respect to the upcoming tryouts. A few points:

- tryout dates/ times are posted under the "Tryouts" tab, but are subject to change;

- passports are not yet available for purchase;

- Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) mandated that passports now be purchased through your Hockey Canada account. This information was only recently confirmed by OHF. Members of the PHA Executive are volunteers, yet they are working diligently to sort out this change in process. We hope to have the store ready on April 2nd to purchase passport, but this date cannot yet be confirmed. Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) has indicated that passports cannot be sold before this date;

- offers of commitment will be signed through the player's Hockey Canada account

- the PHA tryout policy is being reviewed by the Executive, and is likely to be updated before tryouts. Be certain to review the updated policy before tryouts start;

- you MUST try out for PHA AA to be eligible to try out for a PHA A team;

- with open borders, everyone from U8 - U18 is welcome to try out for a PHA Rep team.
