The Peterborough U18 AA's went undefeated 6-0 this past weekend Jan.5- 7 to win the 18th Capital Winter Classic in Ottawa. In the round robin we defeated the Gloucester Rangers 6-2, the Mid-Isle Matrix(PEI) 7-2, the Pownal Red Devils (PEI) 6-1, then the Kanata Blazers 5-1 to finish first overall of the 13 team tournament.
We beat the Waterloo Wolves 3-1 in the semi's to face off against Quebec's Outaouais West Dragons in the final. In a nail biter, Gavin Hill backstopped us to a 2-1 victory in the final that took a 5 minute overtime and 6 shooters into the shootout. He allowed only one goal the entire game in the second period.
