It‘s been a successful month
for the Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA
Petes who are now undefeated for the last seven games and moving up quickly in the standings.
On Saturday, January
20, 2018, the team traveled to the Ajax Community Centre and tied the 2nd
place Ajax Knights 1-1. Dawson Cook scored the lone goal for the Petes assisted
by Sully Casselman and Nick Stinson. Ryder Hadwyn played a strong game in net.
On Sunday, January 21, 2018, the Petes took on the Pickering Panthers resulting in a 5-2 win. Matt Collyer had a hat trick with singles to Nick Stinson and Jack Ryan. John Croxson had two assists, while Noah Davidson, Dawson Cook, Ethan Nie and Collyer each had single assists on the goals. Xavier Lehmann was strong in net.
