The Manulife
Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes had a busy schedule this past weekend with
two away games and one home game.
On Friday, October 27,
2017, the team traveled to Whitby to play the Whitby Wildcats. The boys played
a strong game and ended in a 3-3 tie. Jack Ryan scored the first two goals
assisted by Nick Stinson and Michael Carter. The Wildcats took a 3-2 lead in the
third period but Dominic McMorrow scored late in the period to tie it up. Xavier
Lehmann played a strong game in net.
The Manulife Investments Minor Bantam AA Petes played at home on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Kinsmen Arena winning 2-1 in a close against the Kingston Canadians. Dawson Cook and John Hawman scored for the Petes with Nick Stinson assisting on Cook’s goal. Ryder Hadwyn took the win in net for the team
The team travelled to Belleville for the Sunday night game. It was a close match at 2-2 until the third period when the Bulls moved ahead 4-2. John Croxson and Dominic McMorrow scored for the Petes assisted by John Hawman and Michael Carter. Ryder Hadwyn supported the team in net.
