The FCI Windows atom AA Peterborough Petes improved to 11-0 on the season with convincing wins over Oshawa and Belleville.
On Friday (Sept. 30), the Petes travelled to Oshawa to face the Oshawa Minor Generals.
The Petes took control of the game from the opening draw, eventually opening up a significant lead before the halfway mark of the game.
Peterborough went on to win 10-0.
On Sunday, Peterborough hosted the Belleville Bulls. Peterborough opened the scoring at 5:56 of the first period.
The Petes made it 2-0 with a power play goal late in the period.
Despite significant pressure on the Bulls, Peterborough was unable to find the back of the net in the second period until the 6:49 mark. They followed that up four minutes later with their fourth goal of the game.
The Petes would add two more goals in the third to take the 6-0 win.
Next up for the Petes is a rematch against Oshawa Friday night (Oct. 6). That is the first in a long stretch of games where the Petes will play six times in 10 days.
